The Savannah Bananas
When founder Jesse Cole, Fans First Entertainment, started the team more than 10 years ago, he had the vision to see what no one else could see. His perseverance, presence, and pure determination has allowed his dream to continually expand and grow. The mission of making fans first is part of his secret sauce – and it’s working. The Savannah Bananas Superstar Jackson Olson is currently competing on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars AND on the field simultaneously. Elevate had the pleasure of meeting Jackson Olson and his teammates back in 2024 when the team traveled from Savannah to SoCal to take the field in Anaheim. Take a look back at some of our coverage online, along with our Cover Story in the Premiere Issue of Elevate Magazine.

Banana Ball Teams
The Texas Tailgaters
The Texas Tailgaters are the fourth Banana Ball team in the Banana Ball Championship League. From home runs to honky-tonks, the Texas Tailgaters represent the Lone Star State with line dancing, parking lot grilling, and even have their very own country music band.
The Party Animals
The Party Animals are the primary rival and high-energy counterpart to the Savannah Bananas. Formed in 2020, the team features players strutting in their signature black and pink uniforms as the life of the party out on the diamond.
The Indianapolis Clowns
The revived Indianapolis Clowns are a high-energy team that honors the pioneering legacy of the historic Negro Leagues franchise. Formed in partnership with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, the modern team blends high-level baseball with theatrical entertainment – mirroring the spirit of the original 1930s barnstorming squad that launched legends like Hank Aaron, Satchel Paige, and pioneering female players Toni Stone and Mamie “Peanut” Johnson.
The Loco Beach Coconuts
The Loco Beach Coconuts are a high-energy, beach-themed expansion team. Instead of representing a physical hometown, the Coconuts operate as a traveling “mindset” and coastal party on the road.
The Firefighters
The Firefighters are the third official team in the Banana Ball Championship League with a mission of honoring real-life emergency personnel and fire service heroes, building on the historical roots of early baseball teams formed by volunteer firefighter brigades. They blend high-level baseball skill with circus tricks, acrobatics, flip catches, and crowd-hype moments like their live drum line (“The Fire Line”) and Dalmatian bat dog (“Chief”).
Bananas Foster
Established in 2023, Bananas Foster is dedicated to Bringing Families Together by shining a light on those making a difference within the foster care community. Our mission is to celebrate the foster care community while educating and inspiring others to get involved.
