About Chris Ian Garlington, Founder of Elevate SoCal

Hi, I’m Chris, I was a photojournalist (NY Times, ABC, others) and I launched my own mission-driven media platform in 2024 to demonstrate what the future of media could look like. It’s called Elevate and serves as a bridge between mass media and social media. I’m using Elevate to create trusted ecosystems for content clarity, vetted sources, exclusive interviews, and to strengthen the public trust because content labeling is as important as food labeling. 

I pioneered our content labeling system prior to launch and have been using it for our social content since day one. I have developed a strong platform that is now ready for paid partnerships to fuel meaningful growth while delivering high value for our partners. We offer an array of media solutions including digital, print, and more.
